Grumbacher certified artist, Richard Nowak, gives a step by step tutorial using Academy Acrylics to paint an autumn scene. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to layer and blend acrylic color, create water reflections, and how to create shadow, midtones, and highlights. Intermediate artists will be able to complete this tutorial in approximately 2 hours. Colors used: Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Red Light, Titanium White, Hookers Green, and Alizarin Crimson. Recommended Supplies: HB Pencil, Goldenedge Filbert #8 & Round #2 Brushes, Palette Knife, 9×12 Canvas, and a flat mixing palette or Borden & Riley disposable palette paper.
